Abstract: Determination of the optimal dose for Warfarin is quite challenging considering its narrow therapeutic index and the substantial inter-patient variability in dose requirements to attain ideal anticoagulation.The major focus of this thesis is to develop new mathematical models or improve the performance of existing popular models for Warfarin dosing in the literature from different perspectives.
